Last year, this event occurred on my birthday. What a great idea for a birthday party: take me to see the puppet show, and feed me waffles whilst I quaff vast quantities of belgian ale.

When not watching them perform onstage, I do like to put one on my plate from time to time. Puppet flambe is a tasty and entertaining dish. Puppet meat is comparatively lean and has a unique nutty flavor. It can be prepared many ways. Some of my favorites are: ala vodka, consomme, au poivre, tempura, a la broche, en accolade, and finally, in aspic.
